These beans, native to Nigeria, are a naturally sweeter black-eyed peas. It has a unique light sweetness and can be cooked on its own or used in complex West African recipes such as Moin-Moin (bean cake) or Akara (bean fritters). It is also called “Ewa-Oloyin”.
